Ol Pejeta
A small eco-camp in a private part of Ol Pejeta with guided walks and night drives.
Ol Pejeta Conservancy, near Nanyuki, combines cattle ranching with conservation. It has the largest black rhino population in East Africa and was home to the last northern white rhinos, as well as the Sweetwaters chimpanzee sanctuary. The Big Five are all here, and night drives, lion tracking and rhino visits are possible.
Small tented camps offer the most intimate experience, some in remote corners of the conservancy.
Ol Pejeta is about four hours from Nairobi by road. Conservancy fees support its rhino protection.
