Canaima National Park is a World Heritage Site of tabletop mountains, called tepuis, rising out of savanna, and the lagoon at its entrance is lined with waterfalls and red-brown water. Angel Falls, nearly a kilometer high, is the tallest uninterrupted waterfall in the world and is reached by motorized canoe, often a five-hour trip, from Canaima.
