Ronda
From $128/ night
A 17th-century finca in the countryside, with a lawn-ringed pool and views across the valley to Ronda.
Ronda is one of Spain's most spectacular towns. It stands on a plateau split in two by the El Tajo gorge, more than 100 meters deep, and is joined by the 18th-century Puente Nuevo bridge. The town has one of the oldest bullrings in Spain and a medieval Moorish quarter, La Ciudad, full of palaces and churches.
Hotels in town are close to the bridge and the old quarter, some with views straight down into the gorge. The countryside around Ronda is full of fincas and old mills turned into rural hotels, ideal with a car.
Ronda is about an hour and a half from Málaga and Seville. The surrounding Serranía de Ronda has wineries and the white villages of Andalusia.
