Where to stay in Babeldaob

Babeldaob is the largest island in Palau, a long, green volcanic island with rolling hills, waterfalls and mangrove-lined bays. The capital, Ngerulmud, sits here, along with the international airport and the Bai ra Irrai, a traditional meeting house decorated with painted story boards. The Ngardmau waterfall, the highest in Micronesia, is a short hike into the rainforest.
