Boutique hotels in Kratovo

Kratovo is built in and around the crater of an extinct volcano in the east of the country, its houses spilling down the slopes and linked by six old stone bridges and a series of defensive towers. It was an important mining town in the Middle Ages.

Good to know

The town is small and best visited on a day trip or a one-night stay. Accommodation is limited to a few guesthouses and a small hotel. Kratovo is about one and a half hours from Skopje.
