Boutique hotels in Bieszczady

The Bieszczady are Poland's wild southeastern corner, with open mountain meadows called połoniny, beech forests, bison and few roads. Lake Solina, a large reservoir, is the main base for boating and the hubs of Polańczyk, Cisna and Ustrzyki Dolne.

Where to stay

Our search found no clear boutique list. Zefir SPA in Polańczyk is the closest, by Lake Solina, with warmly decorated rooms, a spa, an indoor pool, a restaurant serving regional food, a sauna, a Russian banya and an outdoor tub. Solina Resort and Hotel Karino Spa also appear in Polańczyk. Guesthouses in Cisna and Wetlina are more traditional.

Good to know

Summer and the autumn colors are best. A car is almost essential.
