Boutique hotels in Badacsony

Badacsony is a basalt mesa rising above Lake Balaton's north shore, covered in terraced vineyards that make Kéknyelű and Szürkebarát wines. The old wine houses along the slope serve tastings with wide views, and the lake lies below.

Hotel Bonvino Wine & Spa is the main name, a wine-focused retreat with its own winery and an indoor pool, a few minutes' drive from Lake Balaton and the Edegger winery. Its guest ratings rest on very few reviews, so check before booking. Other options are budget chain hotels. Lake Balaton has other boutique stays nearby, including those in Tihany and the Káli Basin.
